How to request deletion
If you created an account in BudgetFlow, you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
To submit a request, email us at privacy@BudgetFlow.ma from the email address linked to your BudgetFlow account. Please include the subject line “Account deletion request”.
- In-app path: open the app, go to Profile or Settings, then choose the account deletion or support option if available in your app version.
- Web path: send your request from this public page by email to privacy@BudgetFlow.ma.
- Verification: we may ask for limited information to confirm that you control the account before deletion.
Data deleted
After account ownership is verified, we will delete or anonymize personal data associated with your account unless retention is required for legitimate reasons.
- Account data: name, email address, profile settings, and account preferences.
- Financial data: expenses, income, budgets, wallets, categories, notes, reports, and related records entered in the app.
- App data: saved preferences, app activity associated with your account, and non-required support records.
Data that may be retained
Some data may be retained for a limited period when required by law, security, fraud prevention, billing, dispute resolution, or legitimate business obligations.
Backup copies may also remain for a limited period before being securely overwritten or deleted according to our backup cycle.
Processing time
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days. If a request is complex or subject to legal retention requirements, we may need additional time and will inform you when appropriate.
